Spring is on the way!

It has been a long cold snowy winter even by CNY standards.  It was AWESOME!  Old man winter is on his way out of town now.  Two cardinals and a few finches were spotted on the lawn today (YAY) and the melt has begun.  Spring training is in full swing and we are booking fast.  Now is the time to contact us and set your reservations for the summer.

Lake Report: The temperature has been consistent this month as we have seen highs in the low to mid 20's with single digit overnight temps . There is roughly a 4-6 inch snow-pack on the lake. The ice fishing is picking up along with the snowmobile traffic. Ride with care and as always beware of ice conditions before venturing onto the frozen lake!

Ice fishing

The ice fishing season has begun on Canadarago Lake.  Join us Friday's and Saturday's for a warm lunch.  The snowmobile trails are officially open though snow is thin, please do not burn off the snow on road crossings or thin trails.  If you destroy them early they will be ruined all season.  We all love to ride so use good judgment or trails will be CLOSED!!!!

Holiday Parties

December is here tis' the season!  It's not to late to book your Holiday party with the Lake House. We can accommodate small family gatherings or large office parties of up to 100 people.  Come and enjoy the Holiday's in the warm relaxing atmosphere of the Lake House on Canadarago Lake.  Don't forget Friday and Saturday nights we have live music with Alison Stewart from 6-9pm.

The current temp is 56  and it's raining.  The temp will drop throughout the day and snow showers are possible.  December is here think SNOW!!  Soon The Lake House web site will provide a local weather report with current lake conditions.  Winter enthusiast  think ton's of snow, and frozen lakes.

Gift Certificates!

The Holiday Season is upon us and the spirit of giving is in the air.  We all have a loved one that seems to have everything, this season purchase a gift certificate to the Lake House Restaurant.  Our gift certificates are valid for one year after purchase, so the certificate can be redeemed  at their convenience. 

1st dusting of snow!

It's November 19th and we have our first dusting of snow here at the Lake House.  Soon the lake will be frozen and the ice fishing and snowmobile seasons will begin.  We are open for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday at 11:00.  If your in the area stop by for a warm lunch. This evening we will have live music with Allison Stewart starting at 6:00pm.
